Preparing for your cat's stay
We're excited to welcome your cat into our home, and want to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
It's strongly encouraged that cats stay on the same diet while in our care, so we ask that you bring enough food to last the duration of their stay, plus some extra. There's no need to portion out feedings (although you can if you'd like!) - just add feeding instructions into your account or text them to (760) 420 4861.
We also ask that you pack something that smells like home - for example one of your t-shirts, a small blanket, or their favorite stuffed animal. This will go into their nighttime suite to help them relax.

Ensure your cat has had their latest flea treatment and is up to date with their Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
Sign the Whisker Ridge Agreement, which you will receive by email.
Upload your customer portal with:
- Medical records including proof of flea treatment
- Any medications and instructions
- Cat feeding instructions / any dietary requirements
- Emergency contact information
Arrange drop off time with Laura via phone or text (760) 420 4861
We will have everything ready for when you arrive! Please come with:
- Food for the duration of your cat's stay, plus extra
- Medications
- Something that smells like home
- You are also welcome to bring a favorite toy and treats
On arrival, we will confirm feeding instructions and any medications, contact information and collection time. We will also complete any unsigned paperwork.
