...and I've adored cats for as long as I can remember.

A few years ago, I started volunteering at a local cat rescue. Every week, I have the privilege of caring for hundreds of cats from all walks of life and one thing has become clear: when given a calm, neutral space, cats can live peacefully together and really enjoy each others company.

Fast forward to when I was planning a trip overseas and needed a place for my own cat, SiSi, to stay - I began looking into boarding options around San Diego. Most places were overpriced, kept cats confined all day and only offered playtime in 15 minute slots for an additional cost. I felt really uncomfortable leaving SiSi because I knew she wouldn’t be happy - and neither would I.

That’s when Whisker Ridge began to take shape.

I wanted to create something better for our pets. A place where cats feel safe, relaxed, and can have fun while their humans are away. Whisker Ridge is a boutique cat hotel that I've built inside my home, designed to give your cat an enriching experience with plenty of space to roam, nap, play, and explore - plus loving, round-the-clock care. This is more than just cat boarding - it's your pet's second home.
